The Goodyear Company was founded by US entrepreneur Frank Seilberling in the city of Akron in Ohio in 1898. The company was named in honor of Charles Goodyear who invented and patented the vulcanized rubber process in 1839.
The Goodyear tire boasts countless victories and titles of all kinds in the major world circuits of both cars and motorcycles.
Given the ability to produce rubber items, the company decided to start research in the world of workwear and safety clothing, up to the 1990s, where the Goodyear Company started a fruitful research in the world of Sports and Casual wear.
